How credits are spent, what happens if you run low, and what you own.

How credits are spent, and why free cannot build your idea

Credits pay for your assistants’ time. The bigger or trickier the job, the longer they work on it, and the more credits it uses. A small change costs very little. Building a whole app from nothing is the biggest job there is. Every build and every change tells you what it used when it finishes, so there are no surprises.

Free comes with enough credits to make a ready-made app your own and keep changing it, but not enough to build a whole app from scratch. Rather than let you start one and run out halfway, Free does not offer it. Building your own idea starts on Standard.

Topping up, and what happens if you run low

You are never stranded mid-build. What is already running finishes, and everything that passed its checks is delivered. On Standard and Pro you can top up at any time, and bought credits stay good for twelve months, unlike the monthly ones.

What if a build fails, or is not what I wanted?

If a build fails, meaning your assistants could not finish the job, you are not charged for it and nothing you already had is replaced. PrimeLayer tells you what happened rather than quietly handing you a broken app. If a build finishes but is not what you pictured, that work did use credits, because the work was done. Tell your assistants what to change, in plain words, and they adjust it. A change costs far less than a build, and each one tells you what it used.

Is there a free trial?

Better than a trial: Free is a real plan you can stay on for as long as you like, with no clock running. Its 90,000 credits are granted once rather than monthly, and they do not expire.

Is the app really mine?

Yes. It is a real application with real data. From Standard you can download the code whenever you want, and keep it.

What kind of app can it build?

Web applications, opened in a browser on a phone or a computer, with their own address, their own data and their own sign-in. Not native apps you download from an app store.
